What does Samhain symbolize?

Samhain (pronounced 'sow'inn') is a very important date in the Pagan calendar, for the satanist, the pagans, the witches, the high dark priests and priestesses, demons and demonic entities, sorcerers, the masons [freemasonry], and for the wicked ungodly masses [etc..]; for it marks the Feast of the Dead. Many Pagans also celebrate it as the old Celtic New Year (although some mark this at Imbolc). This is what western culture [and Many others] has renamed as Halloween and adopted ALL it's practices, festivities, rituals, ideologies, and worship, etc..
